Insect houses are coming along

Peggy Fowler is a Minnesota Master Naturalist and volunteers her time and knowledge at the Linda Ulland Memorial Gardens.

Here Fowler is making more 'houses' for insects which are beneficial to the native perennial gardens located at LUMG. Filling each square with a variety of natural materials such as driftwood, sawn logs with drill holes, pinecones and wood shavings, the bugs and insects will be attracted and make their home in convenient proximity to gardens. Thank you Peggy Fowler!
