Annual BIG Basket Celebration and Fundraising Dinner

The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association’s annual celebration and fund-raising dinner will again be held at Marina II Restaurant in Breezy Point from 5:15-8:45 on Wednesday, November 9, 2011.

This event has become something of a legend, right along with its namesake, Paul Bunyan.  Captivating presenters, informational exhibits, Bunyan basket bidding and the always highly anticipated Table Tales have contributed to the event’s appeal over the years.

The 2011 PBSBA annual celebration’s agenda promises another colorful, interest-grabbing event, highlighted by keynote speaker, Dwayne Stenlund-MnDOT Environmental Services, who has been dubbed by colleagues as the ‘Jay Leno of Erosion Control’. Stenlund describes his presentation style as “wild, entertaining and humorous”. His keynote address, Appreciation of Sense of Place, will be peppered with evidence of his clever style. Stenlund is also an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota and gives presentations nationwide.

Don’t miss out this year. You might be surprised at the things you’ll learn. And, you’ll surely be delighted at the fun you’ll have.

To register call 218-543-4714 or email:  Cost is $35/person. Registrations by Nov. 2 appreciated.
