Another feather in the Byway cap!

The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association has redesigned its popular Birds of the Byway brochure.  Now featuring a perforated birds checklist attached to the main brochure, users no longer have to worry about a loose checklist slipping out of the brochure, but are still able to easily remove the checklist, if desired.

The Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway Association, like most organizations, has a variety of organizational objectives, but perhaps one of the most rewarding - students from kindergarten to high school are included in the Byway Association’s outreach.

It’s  four hundred sixty pounds of solid marble.  Four men battled gravity to lift the nearly twenty square foot rectangle of carved artwork to eye level and fasten it to the wall.

Stories of Family, Community Kept Alive in Jenkins

They were married in 1930, and in only eighteen years, the two grew by twelve kids.  The family had been in Jenkins since 1914, and all of these twelve kids, along with parents, grandparents and extended family are figures in the development of the City of Jenkins.
